Jodhpur: In a shocking incident from Jodhpur city, a group of over five medical students assaulted a milk van owner, looted him, and fled with his van on Sunday, July 14. The incident occurred near Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. Three of the five accused have been arrested, and a case has been registered. The incident was captured on CCTV, and the video has gone viral on social media.
According to local reports, the group of MBBS students targeted Devendra Singh Devda, the owner of a Saras Milk Van, at around 4 am. They allegedly looted his belongings, misbehaved with him, and drove off with his van containing crates of milk.

Sukhdev’s Complaint
Sukhdev Vishnoi, the complainant, alleged the disappearance of two crates of 24 liters of milk and the theft of some cash from his vehicle. The police acted swiftly, arresting three of the accused while searching for the remaining two. The van was later found abandoned on Pal Road. The accused have been booked for robbery and disturbing the peace.
Sukhdev, who supplies milk to Saras Dairy, recounted that at around 4:00 am on Sunday, he was at gate number 1 of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital when a group of over five individuals surrounded him. Two of them held him and misbehaved with him, while the others fled with his vehicle.
Following his complaint, a robbery case was registered, and the police examined CCTV footage of the incident. The footage helped identify the accused. The arrested individuals are:
- Vikas Vishnoi, 22, a final-year MBBS student from Dr. SN Medical College.
- Omprakash Jat, 23, a third-year student from Ogala in Sedawa police station area.
- Mahesh Vishnoi, 22, a third-year student from Dabar village in Guda Malani.
Two more individuals were involved, one of whom is also a student of AIIMS Medical College. The police continue to search for the remaining suspects.
