Akshaya Tritiya 2024: Akshaya Tritiya is one of the major festivals of Hindus. This day is considered the most auspicious day to perform various auspicious activities. This day is popularly known as Akha Teej. This day is celebrated across the country with happiness and fervor. Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day or Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha.
According to the calendar, Akshaya Tritiya will be celebrated on May 10, 2024. It is believed that any work can be completed on Akshaya Tritiya without following the auspicious time. As a result, it is known as the “perfect auspicious time.”

Idol Decoration
During this grand festival, the idols of Lord Shri Radha-Krishna will be beautifully adorned with sandalwood paste. Recitation of Stories and Harinam Sankirtan
In addition to the idol decoration, there will be recitation of stories on the Lord Krishna. These stories, filled with divine teachings and enchanting narratives, will captivate the minds of the devotees and deepen their understanding of the Lord’s leelas (divine play).
Furthermore, a grand Harinam Sankirtan will be organized, where devotees will come together to chant the holy names of the Lord, creating a blissful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
Swami Bhaktiprasad Trivikram Maharaj emphasized the significance of having darshan (sacred glimpse) of God on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
It is believed that by seeking the divine presence on this auspicious day, all physical, divine, and spiritual troubles of the devotees are removed.

Schedule of the Event
The Grand Chandan Yatra Darshan will commence at 5 PM. Following the darshan, there will be an aarti (devotional ceremony) at 7:30 PM, where devotees can participate in offering their prayers and gratitude to the deities. After the aarti, Prasad distribution will take place.
