Life Sketch
Early Life and Education: Lalit Mohan Negi hails from Village Kola, Block Pokhra, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Born in Delhi, he is the eldest son of late Shri Chander Mohan Negi and Smt. Jaya Negi. He has three brothers and two sisters. From a young age, Lalit was dedicated to his studies and aspired to serve his nation and society, aiming to bring name and fame to his family.
He received his primary education at the Government Primary School Kola up to class 2, then enrolled in DAV School, Daryaganj, Delhi, and studied there until class 5. He completed his secondary education at Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Kalkaji, Delhi, and later graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University (1981-84).
Police Career: Lalit Mohan Negi joined the Delhi Police as a Sub-Inspector on June 26, 1989, and was promoted to Inspector in 2002. He currently serves as ACP in the Special Cell, NDR, Lodhi Colony.

Operational Achievements: Involved in 33 encounters with dreaded militants from various outfits and underworld/interstate gangsters, resulting in the elimination of over 47 criminals, including 10 Pakistani terrorists.
